Welcome to North Texas Vets. The purpose of this site is to honor and
remember our veterans. In doing so, we will provide information about
military events and
stories of those who served. We have pictures of
Kenneth E. Reddy and
Edgar R. Starnes.
We
honor those who in the course of troublesome times, serve in our Armed
Forces, thus securing our continued freedom. As our banner states, "Some
Gave All - All Gave Some - None Will Be Forgotten".
North Texas Vets is dedicated to the memory of Lt. Kenneth E. Reddy, USAF,
a veteran of the Doolittle Tokyo Raid
and a former resident of Bowie, Texas. The city of Bowie was named after
another war veteran, Jim Bowie, hero of the Alamo who gave all to secure
our freedom from tyranny.
